On the Hoof: Big defensive end with the frame to grow into a defensive tackle. He has wide shoulders, thick chest and wide powerbase.
Needs Improvement: Grimble needs to get lower at the point of attack so he does not get pushed off the line of scrimmage against the run. If he is to stay at defensive end he will need to improve his quickness off the snap of the ball.
Most Impressive: He has a perfect body to become a coveted hybrid defensive end/defensive tackle. He is very strong and he has above-average lateral movement. When he wins the leverage battle at the line of scrimmage he is nearly impossible to move backward.
Conclusion: Has the size to compete early if he comes into camp in shape. Look for him to become a versatile defensive lineman that can be plugged in almost anywhere along the line.
