On the Hoof: Has a tall, lanky body with spindly arms and looks more like a shooting guard than a football player. Tennessee freshman Justin Hunter is a comparison.
Needs Improvement: Arnold will have to gain more size and muscle mass to be effective at the next level. This should help him combat man coverage, win more jump balls, improve durability, and become a bigger force while run blocking.
Most Impressive: Does a nice job of catching the ball away from his body and getting yards after the catch. Arnold has good lateral movement which helps him get off the line of scrimmage while making defenders whiff. His stride is long and smooth, giving him the speed needed to get deep.
Conclusion: Ideally he needs a redshirt year as he gains muscle mass, but like most receivers, if he comes into camp and shows big-play ability, then playing time will be imminent. Look for him to become a two-year starter in his career.
