Scouting Report on Terrance Toliverby Mike Farrell - 06/19/2006
Toliver is a tall, lanky wide receiver with impressive speed and the ability to make yardage after the catch. He’s not afraid of going over the middle and is deceptively strong despite his skinny frame. Toliver can play in every offensive system with his hands, size and ability with the football in his hands. He has a rare toughness for a skinny wide receiver and he loves contact as illustrated by his ability as a safety. Toliver is long with a wide wingspan and soft hands, allowing him to reel in high passes and make catches in traffic. Toliver runs smart routes and sells the out and post well. He has excellent quickness with the ball in his hands. Toliver isn’t overly elusive, but his speed allows him to turn the corner and run away from defenders. He looks like he can fill out without losing any quickness and his physical nature makes him a solid blocker despite his light frame. Toliver is a mismatch for any cornerback with his height and is too quick for linebackers in solo coverage. He’ll require a great deal of attention from defenses in college.
