On the Hoof: Miller has a thick neck and wide shoulders. He has little bad body weight and a lean, muscular frame that can add more muscle mass. His build is similar to LSU redshirt freshman Sam Montgomery.
Needs Improvement: Miller needs to play lower at the point of attack and work on his arsenal of pass-rushing moves. A weakside defensive end needs to spend more time in the backfield wreaking havoc. He needs to work half the man and not take blockers straight on.
Most Impressive: Has good strength and seldom gets pushed off the ball. Miller has good lateral movement and can run sideline to sideline to make plays. He has the frame to possibly grow into a strongside defensive end.
Conclusion: Look for him to redshirt as he improves his technique, especially as a pass rusher. Miller runs well enough to play on coverage teams. He should end up becoming a solid two-year starter.
