Scouting Report on Sedrick Flowers

On the Hoof: Not the biggest offensive guard, but he does have wide shoulders, thick arms and plenty of room to add upper-body weight.
Needs Improvement: He may actually project as an offensive center because of his size. He does need to add some upper-body strength and size before he sees the field at the next level.
Most Impressive: Flowers is very light on his feet, giving him the ability to pull and make blocks downfield on smaller athletic defensive players. He uses his arms and hands well, and his natural knee bend also helps him consistently win the leverage battle.
Conclusion: Will likely redshirt as he gains size and strength. Don’t be surprised if he trains as a guard and center. Look for him to become a solid two- to three-year starter and a leader on the offensive line.
