On the Hoof: Cheek's lower body is one of the most athletic and powerfully built in the country. He has zero bad body weight and the frame to add another 30 to 40 pounds.
Needs Improvement: Adding muscle mass to his upper body will help him become a more devastating run blocker especially at the point of attack. He must also remember to keep moving his feet while pass protecting and battle hard to win that leverage war versus shorter defensive linemen.
Most Impressive: He clearly has one of the best frames of any lineman in the country. Cheek is also athletic enough to get downfield and make that extra block against linebackers and safeties. His conditioning is also superior to most giant linemen because he plays both ways and is the deep snapper for his team.
Conclusion: Look for him to redshirt and then make the two-deep his second year on campus. He has a chance to turn into a three-year starter and play either right or left offensive tackle.
