Scouting Report on Curtis Brown

by Mike Farrell - 06/19/2006
Brown could play on either side of the football in college but his skill set is more rare as a cornerback. He is very smooth in his backpedal, opens his hips well and doesn’t bite on double moves. He finds the ball well in the air and has excellent ball skills. His impressive leaping ability allows him to take on bigger wideouts even though he has good size for a corner. Brown has good instincts on defense and reads the play well. He needs to bulk up and get stronger, but has the frame to do so. On offense he could be a top-notch slot receiver with his speed and hands.
