Scouting Report on Jon Scheyerby Jerry Meyer - 05/03/2005
A good shooter who can get streaky, Scheyer is best when shooting off the dribble, especially going left. Does not have good functional height with his short arms and long neck, but he plays quicker, bigger and stronger than he looks. Does a good job finding the open man while driving to the basket. Has enough quickness to guard a shooting guard but must get stonger. Also, he has the intangibles of a winner.
Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader.
