- SpeedDivision I Player
- SizeBlue Chip
- StrengthDivision I Player
- AgilityBlue Chip
- Foot QuicknessBlue Chip
On the Hoof: Tall, lanky upper body with some of the longest arms ever seen and a lean, muscular lower body. Thompson has a build similar to North Carolina freshman Brennan Williams.
Needs Improvement: He must hit the weights and add upper body strength. Thompson also needs to get full-time reps as an offensive lineman since he is still making the switch from defensive line.
Most Impressive: Very gifted athletically with superior agility and foot quickness. He is a natural hip and knee bender and looks like a basketball player when in his stance. Thompson also has the long arms that will become lethal weapons when fully developed.
Conclusion: Thompson is very raw and it may take him a couple years to develop into the superior offensive lineman that we think he will become. He has a great frame and could easily hold another 40 pounds of muscle mass. He should become a major player at the next level before his career is over if he wants to be.
