On the Hoof: Has the build of a free safety/ receiver and will remind fans physically of fellow Alabama native Dre Kirkpatrick. A long-limbed athlete who is fairly thin at this time.
Needs Improvement: Staying lower in his backpedal will allow him to come out of his breaks quicker. Rose also needs to add some size and muscle mass which should improve the power of his tackles. Wrapping up ball carriers well is another area he will need to improve on at the next level.
Most Impressive: He is a very versatile athlete that could project as a receiver or safety at the next level. Rose has excellent ball skills and possesses the ability to make yards after the interception. His speed is very deceptive because he has a beautiful long stride that allows him to cover a ton of ground in the blink of an eye.
Conclusion: His versatility will most likely translate into success at the next level. His ball skills, height and speed set him apart from most corners, but the biggest question is whether or not he has the hips to stay with elite receivers.
