On the Hoof: Buie has a perfect cornerback or all-purpose back body type. He is definitely more muscular in person than he appears on film. His body type is similar to David Oku of Tennessee.
Needs Improvement: In order to become an every-down back, Buie will need to play at around 195 pounds and work on lowering the pads at contact.
Most Impressive: He has excellent hands out of the backfield - so good he could play receiver. His speed will allow him to get to the corner and break long runs. Buie is very quick and dangerous in the open field.
Conclusion: Florida is loaded with running backs, and Buie is definitely one of the better ones in this class. He could play early because of his versatility as a receiver or possible return man.
