Scouting Report on Clint Tucker

by Barry Every - 06/03/2010

On the Hoof: Tucker has a thick upper body and a powerful base. He could shift some weight from his midsection to other parts of his body, but it is not a must. Tucker is similar in size and shape to Georgia incoming freshman Mike Thornton.
Needs Improvement: Tucker must add to his arsenal of pass-rushing moves and rely less on the bull-rush. Improving his flexibility would improve his lateral movement.
Most Impressive: He is very strong and understands that being lower at the point of attack usually wins the battle. He has excellent size and bulk to play defensive tackle at the next level. Tucker is a tough customer and not afraid to mix it up.
Conclusion: He seems to have the size and strength to compete early, but how will he react to going one-on-one with bigger, stronger and more experienced offensive linemen?
