On the Hoof: May be the best put-together back in the country. Redd has a muscular build similar to Texas A&M freshman Christine Michael.
Needs Improvement: Needs to work on making the tough catches by having his hands positioned properly. He has a tendency to have to big a gap between his hands.
Most Impressive: He is built to do damage to linebackers and the secondary in the second half. Redd is fast and explosive and practices every rep like it is a real game. He is also a smart player with great leadership skills and is determined to be great.
Conclusion: There was some doubt early on whether he was a running back or a cornerback, but he has proven on more than one occasion that he can be an impact freshman with the ball in his hands. Expect him to have a stellar college career and to eventually become a NFL football player.
