|Texas to tangle with Baylor, again03/09/2007 Orangebloods.com|
The No. 14 Texas Longhorns earned a first round bye in the Big 12 Tournament with a 12-4 record. After some much needed rest, the Longhorns will return to action Friday night at 8:20 p.m. against a hot-shooting Baylor Bears team that has had the chance to beat Texas both times they played in the regular season. Texas won in Austin 84-79 after trailing the majority of the game and won in Waco 68-67 in a game the Longhorns faltered down the stretch. If the Longhorns are to make it three in a row in the 2006-07 season over Baylor, it will take a better game than Texas has played in the first two meetings.
