On the Hoof: Tall defensive end with thick arms and a wide powerbase. He has the growth potential to reach 270 pounds, allowing him to play either defensive end position. Physically similar to Cal freshman Chris Martin.
Needs Improvement: Playing hard every snap will improve his production and ability to become a difference maker. Many think he can be a linebacker in the 3-4 defense but that is probably not the case because of his size potential. Bailey could add some upper body size and strength.
Most Impressive: His size potential and athletic ability will allow him to player either defensive end position at the next level. He has the speed to catch running plays from behind and wreak havoc in the passing game as a rusher.
Conclusion: Will most likely redshirt as he makes the jump from small high school ball to BCS level football. Look for him to become a pass-rushing specialist that will have the ability to record double-digit sacks in a season.
