On the Hoof: He is probably a tad shorter than his listed 6-3 with lean muscle structure. Physically he is built like a slightly thicker Russell Shephard.
Needs Improvement: He needs to continue to physically develop, and work on squaring his shoulders up and planting his back foot while throwing on the run. Scroggins needs to improve his accuracy on deep balls.
Most Impressive: He is very mobile for a pro-style quarterback and can buy the extra time in the pocket to extend plays as defenses break down. He also has serious zip and accuracy on his intermediate passes.
Conclusion: A definite redshirt will be in store for him allowing him physically mature. I would not expect him to get any meaningful playing time until his third year in a program. That being said, he should have a similar college career to former Kansas State star Michael Bishop because of his ability to create big plays in a number of different ways.
