On the Hoof: Drango is a tall, long-armed lineman. He is built a bit like 2010 Iowa signee Andrew Donnal.
Needs Improvement: Must stay lower at the point of attack, and needs to move his feet better after engaging with defenders. I would like to see him be more aggressive as a run blocker and play with a mean streak. Drango needs to add some upper body size and strength.
Most Impressive: You can’t coach height and long arms, both of which Drango possesses. He has the feet to be a left tackle and the ability to guide defenders past the quarterback with one arm.
Conclusion: He is a little bit of a project, but whoever signs him is getting someone that could grow into a 310-pound monster. He is a definite redshirt that should be at least a two-year starter.
