On the Hoof: Fulse has excellent height and a great lower body to become an every-down tight end. His frame and size is similar to fellow 2011 tight end Chris Barnett.
Needs Improvement: The key to Fulse’s future will be adding some upper-body muscle mass, so he can become a more effective blocker. Fulse could improve his overall speed, which should help him become a mismatch for linebackers.
Most Impressive: He runs very sharp routes and has soft hands. His height and overall size will give smaller linebackers and defensive backs problems. I also like his ability to catch the ball at the highest point, stealing poorly thrown passes from defensive backs.
Conclusion: He has the potential to be a major receiving threat at the next level. He also has the body to grow into a strongside defensive end if so inclined. Fulse will most likely redshirt while he spends some time with the strength and conditioning staff.
