On the Hoof: Thick neck and wide shoulders with a long and muscular build that reminds me of a world class discuss thrower. Chickillo's build is similar to Oliver Vernon of Miami.
Needs Improvement: Lacks the ideal size to be a defensive end at the next level. He may project better as a linebacker so learning to play in space will be something new. He missed most of his junior season with an injury so bouncing back and proving durability will also improve his stock.
Most Impressive: Very quick off the ball and plays with a motor that never stops. Chickillo is also very strong for his size and has one of the most powerful snatch pass-rushing moves that I have seen. He is also a very hard worker with the determination to do what it takes in the weight room and film room.
Conclusion: Most likely will redshirt as he continues to either gain the size needed to become an every-down defensive end or learn how to play linebacker. He seems like an overachiever and someone that will become a pass-rushing specialist.
