| Connection with coaches prompts L.A. QB to commit06/21/2012 TheWaveReport.com Los Angeles Dorsey High quarterback Reginald Bell had connections to New Orleans long before he committed to Tulane earlier this week. Still, the connection that mattered most to him was the one he felt with new coach Curtis Johnson and his staff. Bell, a 6-foot-4, 175-pound dual-threat quarterback who threw for 1,365 yards and 16 touchdowns last year while rushing for another 387 yards and five scores, considers New Orleans his second home. His parents moved to Los Angeles from the Crescent City about four months before he was born, but almost all of his relatives still live in New Orleans. He has visited the city at least 10 times. |
