  • Yeah, I don't see it either. I don't think there'll be that big a difference from his sophomore and junior video either. Maybe he was a late bloomer but Dyer is waaay better. Either way, totally not a 5 star guy. He'll be a Glen Coffee type guy for sure.

I coached high school football in the state of Florida for many years and never have i seen or coached a player as good as this Marcus Lattimore. I STILL DON'T THINK HE IS THE BEST BUT THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN IN PERSON.

  • I just saw he was the MVP of the State Championship here in SC against Summerville High. I played against Summerville in high school(Goose Creek High Class of '05), and they're one of the most inconsistent teams in lower SC. Beat us one year at our house 37-6, beat them the next year 36-7 (AJ Green scored the only TD). 300 yards is not convincing. Nor were his highlights in that game.

  • I just don't see it. Watched other videos of this kid from this previous season (I believe they played Summerville High in the State Championship), and I was hardly impressed. Runs hard, but is very lethargic when cutting. Reminds me of a over glorified fullback. Give him a draw play, and watch him downhill. Not much in the first step. 3rd down back if anything.

  • This kid was a sophomore when this film was recorded. He will be a 5-11 220 sledgehammer. I think he's going to be a big time inside runner that can move the pile. His film doesn't do him justice but its still good though.

You are right, I have seen way better runners than this guy. I do think he is a product of the system he plays in. Yes he is good and he will make a decent program happy but he no Lache Seastrunk.

Watch Dyer's highlights and there is no comparison in speed and field vision and making cuts. All of the plays I have seen this guy make are mediocre at best.

wow are you guys really knocking this guy? lattimore put up 2300 yards in ONE season, And don't even give me this bs that Byrnes H.S. doesn't even play anybody. They're rank nationally every year and have proven to beat the best teams in the nation on ESPN. He's a great football player and is the ultimate back. He'll make a great player at the next level just wait and see.
