Best is a great running back with great potential. The next step is huge. Where is Russell White? Reynard Rutherford? Those are some of the best backs to grace Cal's turf. I do wish Javid the best. 300 yards aginst any defense deserves respect. GO BEARS!

sure he did it against the huskies, but every other team in the pac-10 played against the huskies and none of their running backs did anything similar, not jacquizz rogers or the USC trio.

Big BEST fan here, but once again it was against the Huskies!!! In the Pros, he will be facing monsters and every position. Whats exciting about Best is that he is only a sophmore with 2 years to mature and get stronger/faster and maybe a little bigger to handle those big hits!

He will make it at the next level because of his ability to run between the tackles. That's where the comparison with Bush falls short. Both are fantastic in the open field and fast. Bush lives and dies on the edges, if he can turn the corner it's a big gain. Best can score on any type of run. His first two touchdowns Saturday were over left guard, and his third was over right guad.

First, it was great seeing Best tear up the Huskies offense. However, we're talking about the worse team in pac 10 history! Track is great, but he will need to put on size to take his game to the next level! Go Bears!!

Jahvid proves my point by running track. He was already a great back in High School I made him faster. Everybody had doubt about his ability as a good back because he played in a small league. I never agreed. I used to coach high school football. Track is anyones edge. Some people compare Jahvid with Reggie Bush well he ran track so did Chris Johnson. Google Jahvid Best, Greg Newman
