And Tebow should have better numbers because he hasn't exactly faced a gauntlet of a schedule. Only LSU and Troy are opponents who are over .500. He's played a lot of decent teams, but only one really good one.

You kind of missed my entire point, John. I am in NO way advocating Pryor for Heisman. My point is that he's having a terrible year and people in Columbus want him to be benched, yet he's put up better numbers than Tebow (don't mistake that for having a better season though). That shows why Tebow shouldn't be in the conversation at this point with the Clausen's, Ingram's, and Keenum's.

as far as landons comment about the status of pryor for the heisman, yes he has more td's than tebow, but when they are against southwest ohio central teachers college, there jumping up and down, but when hes faced lets say, usc or mich state or whoever else with a winning record, he is running for his LIFE!!!!!

Christian Ponder of FSU is the best quarterback in the country.

I wish Jordan Shipley of UTx would get more attention here and yes even over over his teammate, Colt McCoy. I have seen this guy play live and on TV and im just so impressed with his performance in 3 positions of WR, Returner for Special teams, and placekick holder... but his freakish ability to get open, or catch the uncatchable, and get yards or touchdowns after the catch is exceptional

I am a Gator fan but do not believe Tebow should be considered. He has had a lot of turnovers and has not been finding open receivers. Now he still has 5 games to get in the running so I wouldn't say he is out but I think he will have to finish out the season with games like he played against Georgia. As a side note why does the heisman have to go to a QB or RB every year?

All you stats freaks recall those ostentatious numbers Sam Bradford put up to defeat Tim Tebow last year (along with a Southwestern cue of blocking votes) in the Heisman race. Then a head to head match-up in the national title game revealed the best player...

I think that Texas has a better QB in the Nation but just don't rule out McCoy yet Go Longhorns

Another quick point....Terrell Pryor has more TDs, passing yards, rushing yards, and yards per carry than Tebow. If that doesn't say he shouldn't be a Heisman candidate then I don't what does.
