These people are smoking crack. Stoops is not going anywhere, even if he had losing season, his job would be safe. Now the defensive coachs is another story. Get rid of Venables and Martinez and let that serve as a warning to the rest of his staff. Boomer!!

Looked to me like they went to the Bell dozer @#$% just to keep Landry Jones down after Broyles went down and they knew what would happen if they kept Landry in passing to all the inferior WR's we had.. It was always the plan to keep Jones down so he'd come back for his senior season..Now recruit some GD good WR's, get a real Defensive Coordinator, and a new Off-Coor. & get back to Sooner football,,

Veneables needs to change his defenisve game plan. Im not saying i know anything but we havent had that punch you in the mouth, speed to get to the game- trashing talking ego that we are the better then you kinda defense since Mike Stoops was there. I DO think we need to get away from this fun and gun style and start punching people in the mouth again and let it hang out against other teams.

iam a diehard oklahoma sooner fan from texas and yes he is taking alot of heat from the ou fans, he better get rid of defense coach brent vennables and replace him with his brother mike stoops... vennables has been there since mike left and has cost stoops alot of big games and wins in NC losses too usc, lsu, florida.... its time too buy out vennables contract and landry as well for the nfl.

Stoops is safe, but I would say he is under some pressure. The program has gotten soft and he is going back to when he first started, work ethic from the players and coaches, no more excuses.
