  Hey james, I compared Alabama and Boise State, like you asked. Here's you go: Bama's opponents were a combined 100-66, Boise St.'s were 84-91; the worst team Bama played was 2-10, Boise 1-11. Bama played 6 teams in the 25, 4 were in the top 10; Boise played 2, 1 in the top ten. Bama beat the #1 and #2 teams in the Nation, so yes they are the UNDISPUTED CHAMPS! Your argument holds on credence.

  A playoff system is the dumbest idea ever conceived in an uneven playing field. Thats like saying ok we have all these big name teams and all these cupcake teams the play in elementary school leagues and were gonna make em all play each other. If the kids wanna sit at the adults table then they should start playing more of the big boys as their nonconference games. Boise is has the idea next year.

  I wish that it was a play-off in College football, I don't like the way the system is set-up. It is a Bullshit system and I think that a lots of larger schools are just chickens and don't want to get up-set in a play-off game.

  Gee, we seem to be surrounded by authorities on college football. No one knows who would win bet. Alabama and B.S. The "Nuff said" comment was useless in the extreme. Most agree that Boise State has the admirable ability to rise (and surprise) to the occasion. They don't seem to be as large as some teams, but that isn't everything. I believe they could give any team a good game. Nuff said?
