bull @#$% gators 24/7
Posted on Tuesday March, 3 at 9:33 CST Report AbuseOne last take leveling the field a bit: 1 pt/win (2 pts for BCS game) + 1 pt for a win over a BCS opponent ranked higher than you: PAC 10 (9 pts), SEC (7 pts), ACC (6 pts), and 4 tied at 3 pts with 5 games left. The SEC could pick up another 7 points, but the PAC 10 doesn't look so weak after all especially with only 5 opportunities to score the 9 points.
Posted on Friday January, 2 at 6:22 CST Report AbuseSounds crazy but with 6 bowl games left the point value conference bowl standings are PAC 10 (68 pts), SEC (58 pts), ACC (57 pts), Big 12 (53 pts), Conf USA (44 pts), Big East (40 pts) plus the rest 20 points or less. The SEC and Big 12 have the most to gain over the next few days.
Posted on Friday January, 2 at 12:18 CST Report Abuse30 pts for BCS NC game regardless, all others 10 pts for date, 10 for location: -1 pt each day away from Jan 1 and -1 for 750 miles from Miami. Examples: Rose (-3 CA) = 17 pts Pac 10, Emerald (-3 CA, -5 Date) = 12 pts Pac 10, Outback (-1 Date) = 19 pts SEC, Music City (-1 TN, -1 Date) = 18 pts SEC. Weaker teams/conferences go West and North in general playing away from Jan 1st.
Posted on Friday January, 2 at 10:40 CST Report AbuseWhat does location have anything to do with skill? And days removed from New Years? That has to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
Posted on Thursday January, 1 at 11:32 CST Report AbusePAC 10 is a joke, they can barely beat bowl teams that would have trouble competing against Yale. No wonder they won all 5 bowl games this year. Bowl games should be point ranked by location and date with games played in Florida receiving the most points, big deductions should be taken for games as they move further north or west and the days removed from New Years Day.
Posted on Thursday January, 1 at 10:38 CST Report AbuseSec and others always getting the credit when I see Pac 10 and their 5 teams undefeated in Bowl games. Maybe those other conferences ought to play eachother like Pac 10, beat eachother up and still come out like Pac 10 does. I'll be impressed then. Go Pac 10!
Posted on Thursday January, 1 at 7:55 CST Report AbuseYeah, The PAC-10 Is SO WEAK that so far theyve won every bowl game.
Posted on Thursday January, 1 at 5:18 CST Report AbuseJust for the record, I have been telling y'all losers all year long, Sooners will crush Tim Tebow and the rest of the Gator's. By the end of the first half, they'll be looking for the bus to get em' out o'there. Half time prediction: O.U. 35-Lator's 13. End of game O.U. 63-Traitor Gators 34. Don't be haten when your down and out to another romp and stomp by the best offense in N.C.A.A.history.
Posted on Thursday January, 1 at 7:15 CST Report AbuseSEC not a powerhouse??? After January 8, you will see Florida #1, Alabama #2, hmmmm seems like a powerhouse to me. Pac 10 is a joke, big 10 is worse, and big 12 is only impressive when they play each other... Hey big 12, have you heard about defense? No, didn't think so... LSU (unranked at the time) spanked supposed # 14 Ga Tech, Vandy, yes Vandy beat boston college, one of the ACC's (almost competitive conference) elite. When the dust settles on January 8, you will see once again why after the SEC championship game is played, they should just hand the national championship trophy to the winner, turn out the lights, and give you losers a moment of silence. SEC #1 year after year after year. We're not snobs, we're just better than all of you!! Go SEC and GO GATORS!!!
