  • I just want to say that Greg Anthony is the man!!! He is the only guy in the country who sees things for what they are, when the rest of the college basketball media doesn't do their homework and belittles Memphis. Greg Anthony sees what kind of team they have even after Coach Cheater I mean Calipari decimated its ranks. If you have any doubts about Memphis basketball this year talk to KANSAS.

Memphis Tigers are still a good team and may go into the tourney this year, but will definitely be in the 2011 Championship game.

Good analysis. I couldn't agree more. How did Duke get into this discussion? Under rated? Just ask Wisconsin. mjc

Memphis v Gonzaga in February should be an interesting game. The Tigers have owned the zags in recent years, particularly last year where they had the zags visiably shaken... G. Anthony is right, this Tiger team has a lot of drive / effort especially on D so watch out. They demoralized Oakland (i know another not so high caliber team but predicted to be decent) last night with their D and hustle

OK. First and foremost: AS of today at 7:18PM Dook has not played anybody this year! No ranked teams , cinderellars or any mid- majors. So of course they are gonna be good against horrible teams! I got one message for ya: Play somebody!! Then when you beat somebody come say something. When UNC loses 75% of its offense, You wanna pick on them. Go ahead that's fine. When you get beat, shutup!!!!!!!

I agree with Memphis, they don't have most of their best players from the last few two years but they do have some of their great 3 point shooters from thier team. Doneal Mack, Willie Kemp and Robert Sallie etc. Now they've added hometown player Elliot Williams who played for Duke who is the best player on the team now.I'd rate Memphis in the Top 15 at least so far.

It will be interesting to see how Michigan does this year. They have been so far down for so long... Not saying they will be there at the end with the big dogs, just think they'll surprise a few people this year.

Keep on overlooking Texas A&M in the Big 12; one of 4-5 teams in the country to advance past the first round of the tourney 5 consecutive years.
