Video: Y! Sports' Greg Anthony provides some insight into some point guards who will be key heading toward the NCAA Tournament.
Right on SWWeatherguy, Lillard was double, triple teamed and Gutierrez is one of the top defensive PGs in the country. Lillard scored 38 against a Saint Mary's team that is better than Cal.
Posted on Sunday January, 22 at 6:14 CST Report AbuseSlamboly, are you high? Weber was @ Cal obviously because Cal plays an overwhelming amount of their schedule @ home. Weber was missing two starters with injury and the entire team struggled to shoot well. Part of that was good Cal defense which double-teamed Lillard often but Lillard and the rest of the team missed a lot of good looks too. 14 points against a good Cal D with little help isn't bad.

Posted on Tuesday January, 17 at 9:48 CST Report Abusedamien lillard is the worst person you could pick for this. cal's jorge guiterriez locked him up and held him to a season low 14 points. maybe anthony should take that into his calculations.
Posted on Tuesday January, 17 at 4:40 CST Report AbuseTJ McConnell from Duquesne. the kid was the A10 Freshman of the Yr last season and was 2nd or 3rd IN THE COUNTRY in steals per game, currently sitting at 2nd in the country in steals per game and 2nd in the country in total steals. 16th in the country in assists per game and I read hes one of six point guards in all of divison 1 mens basketball that has a double-double. very great court awareness
