Scouting Report on Taylor Bible

How we scouted: Film footage, In-person visits, Game setting, Campby Barry Every - 08/25/2009
  • SpeedBlue Chip
  • SizeBlue Chip
  • StrengthBlue Chip
  • AgilityDivision I Player
  • Lateral PursuitBlue Chip
On the Hoof: Looks bigger than his listed measurements, and he is as muscled up as a lineman can get. Bible is very-well proportioned with a good powerbase and a huge, thick trunk. He is big enough to contribute right now.
Needs Improvement: The biggest question mark is can he come back from his shoulder injury and compete at the next level? He was finally cleared to work out this July. He also needs to work on staying low at the point of attack.
Most Impressive: He is very explosive off the snap of the ball. Bible is very strong and is relentless in his pursuit of the ball.
Conclusion: Bible has the size and athleticism to play early, but the defensive tackle position is very grueling and physically demanding. If he comes back to his old form and stays healthy through the entire senior season, he could make a dent in the two-deep as a freshman.
