Andre Jones

Jones comes off the ball hard and low, engaging offensive linemen immediately without giving ground and shedding them to make the play against the run. When double-teamed, he’s quick enough to split it with his first step and strong enough to hold his ground and work his way to the play. He has excellent pass rush moves including a nice swim move and he has a good motor when going after the quarterback. Jones plays physical and to the whistle and usually wins the battle for leverage. When he gets locked up he can sometimes straighten up and play too high, but he does a good job of reminding himself to stay low for the most part and he’s stout at the point of attack.
