Chris Donald

Very athletic linebacker who has excellent speed and loves to hit. A running back on offense, on defense he has an endless motor and is a tireless worker. He takes on big men well and doesn’t shy away from contact, but slashing to fill the gap is what makes him effective. Donald wraps up well and is a sure tackler, although he needs to worry less about the big hit and maintain form at the next level. He’s a very effective blitzer with a great first step and excellent pursuit ability. In coverage, Donald can turn and run well and plays solid in zone coverage. He reads the quarterback’s eyes well when he drops, although his ball skills need to improve. Donald’s athleticism allows him to make plays others can’t.
