On the Hoof: He has good height for a pro-style quarterback and is already fairly well-developed physically. Hendrix looks like he is ready to take a college hit at this point. Looks a little like LSU quarterback Jarrett Lee.
Needs improvement: He will have to be careful how he runs the ball at the next level and learn not to take as many hits while upright. Hendrix can improve the depth of his drops while under center, creating better passing lanes.
Most impressive: Has prototypical NFL size and a quick release. Hendrix is very accurate and does a nice job of squaring his shoulders up while throwing on the run. He is also very mobile for a pro-style quarterback.
Conclusion: Like most quarterbacks, a redshirt year is most likely in store for this signal caller. But after that he should vie for playing time, because he has the size and strength to make almost any throw while being able to take the punishment of college football. Look for him to become a two-year starter with NFL potential.
