Scouting Report on Curtis White

How we scouted: Film footage, In-person visits, Game settingby Barry Every - 08/26/2009

On the Hoof: He has excellent height and a frame that can play tight end at 265 pounds.
Needs Improvement: He could add some size and strength to his powerbase, which should help him run block. Does he have the nastiness to line up in the traditional tight end position for every down and distance?
Most Impressive: White has very soft hands and is a threat to gain yards after he catches the pass. He can make linebackers miss in the open field with his quick feet and smooth effortless gate.
Conclusion: If he comes in ready to compete, he will play as a true freshman. White is just too big and athletic to keep off the field. Don't be surprised if he ends up playing defensive end depending on the depth chart and where he is needed most. He definitely has the athleticism and size to become an NFL player.
