#1David CornwellQB
Norman, OKNorth

Cornwell is a guy that has seemingly come out of nowhere to place himself among not only the state's top quarterbacks but also perhaps in the country. Blessed with incredible arm talent Cornwell is also a capable guy with his feet whether it's simply buying time for his receivers or taking off into the open field. The question for Cornwell will be how he'll match up with superior competition and simply wanting to see him some more in person. As with most of the top seven, a No. 1 ranking seemed inevitable at some point or another and after a stellar camp showing around the new year - it was his shot at the crown.

#2Steven ParkerDB
Jenks, OKJenks

Don't be fooled the elite defensive back did nothing to drop here, he is every bit the player on film we saw in person all season. Parker is the player we're most comfortable with at this point when it comes to the blend of natural talent, room for growth, on-field production, and a guy who could be as ready as any in this crop of in-state prospects to play at the college level.

#3Deondre ClarkDE
Oklahoma City, OKDouglass

Clark remains about a hair's breath away from the top spot and is arguably the most physically gifted player in the state. His blend of great frame, quality explosion, and big numbers as a junior year makes it easy to see why he is leading the state in offers. I'd like to see Clark get stronger in the off-season and continue to be more physically impressive. His showing at the March 17 Rivals/Under Armour camp in Dallas could play a huge role because it will be one of the rare times Clark faces offensive lineman with elite skill.

#4Justice HansenQB
Edmond, OKSanta Fe

Almost undoubtedly the most productive player on this list, Hansen's numbers have been stellar two straight years. In 2012 he managed a 4:1 TD:INT ratio and was over 3,000 yards in spite of playing in an offense that was highly dependent. As a display of his athletic ability Hansen had another 14 touchdowns on the ground. More than anything though Hansen continues to refine himself as a quarterback as his athleticism has been well known for quite some time.

#5Jeffery MeadWR
Tulsa, OKUnion

This was a guy that the SoonerScoop staff saw last spring and saw upside but thought his lean frame and generally raw talent would take a while to develop. Well 'a while' was about 5 months as Mead made some absolutely staggering plays during another big season for the state powerhouse Redskins. His blend of size and speed is a rare thing but he'll have to get more physical and learn to deal with the physical defensive backs he'll deal with in the college game.

#6Gyasi AkemLB
Broken Arrow, OKBroken Arrow

Akem is another player that the talent isn't always easy to see but when he 'flashes' he does things few linebackers in the country can match-up with. There are plenty of years he'd be among the top 2-3 players in the state. The fact that he is No. 7 is a testament to the kind of year it is in Oklahoma as Akem is a high-level BCS talent at linebacker.

#7Devon ThomasRB
Broken Arrow, OKBroken Arrow

Thomas, along with Hansen, was one of our co-sophomores of the year in February of 2012, is an amazing talent that seemed a near lock for the top spot just 10 months ago. However, after a summer in which Thomas failed to join many of his teammates at various camps he found his way into some off field trouble and missed the first three games of the season. Unfortunately, due somewhat to reasons beyond his control, Thomas never really regained the form that saw him set numerous Broken Arrow records as a sophomore. Still though it's impossible to deny how gifted the Oklahoma State commitment is. We'll see how things play out going forward but he not only has time to make up ground but the impressive talent to do so.

#8Tramal IvyDE
Muskogee, OKMuskogee

I'll still guarantee that this is the highest he'll be ranked anywhere. Every year I find a few in-state guys that I'm higher on than the rest of the world, see Michael Onuoha and Jordan Evans as recent examples. And as he is now, I kind of understand why there might be some questions. He is light and lean and very raw but anyone who has watched his highlight reel should be able to see that Ivy oozes athleticism and his big frame will carry plenty of weight in the future.

#9Jordan BrailfordDE
Tulsa, OKBooker T. Washington

The trouble with ranking Brailford is that while he clearly projects as a defensive end he spends so much time inside for the Hornets. Brailford is a prospect who has real ability and it's nearly impossible to argue with the Hornets ability to produce defensive linemen - could Brailford be the next one to go a bit overlooked? He is starting to get his due from schools and expect his reputation to grow quickly. And it's just impossible to ignore the value, and need, of elite pass rushers.

#10Coleman KeyQB
Broken Arrow, OKBroken Arrow

Key's first year at Broken Arrow may not have gone exactly as many, including the Scoop staff, had anticipated but there is still plenty of reason to believe in his ability. Key's motion may be a touch long but he has the ability to deliver strikes all over the field and surprisingly for a quarterback of his size showed real ability, behind an often troubled offensive line, to make plays with his feet and deliver clean throws on the run. Key is another guy who can make a big move, it'll just come down to production and seeing more from the Tigers offense as he gets more and more familiar with it as a senior.

Evitt is one of the more explosive players to come out of Oklahoma in the last decade. Though small in size with the progression of offenses and their ability to run out of the spread more and more smaller backs are having little trouble being recruited. Expect the 'Red Dirt Mamba' to follow that pattern.

#12Michael FarmerATH
Edmond, OKEdmond North

One of only a few prospects in the state already committed but with Farmer's future location perhaps already decided the question becomes - where does he play on the field? Though he has spent his first two years of varsity starring at running back some think Farmer could grow into a dynamic fullback, a safety, or perhaps even an outside linebacker. Like several others in this in-state crop he has numerous possibilities at the college level. Farmer is incredibly physical and more powerfully built than many of his counterparts in the 2014 class.

#13Mike'Quan DeaneTE

A relatively new name but when his video hits Rivals, people will understand what the fuss is about. Deane is an interesting guy who could end up as a defensive end, a tight end, or even perhaps a jumbo receiver. Deane isn't quite the prototype size at defensive end but thanks to a great size:speed ratio and ability to make plays down field he can become a difference maker.

#14Jalen AdamsWR
Moore, OKSouthmoore

Adams is an intriguing athlete that has the ability to stretch the field with his speed but isn't shy about going across the middle and making a play. Though a bit of a long strider Adams is able to be fairly shifty in the open field. As his frame fills out he'll become much better in dealing with press coverage.

It's been a few years since the Falcons had a member on this list but with Batson's ability in the open field it's not hard to see why that run has ended - even though he is not the only Falcon on the list. Due to his size some may wonder where he'll play in college but Batson's blessing is that the answer may simply become 'just get the ball in his hands'.

Harding can sometimes get overlooked due to all of the talent on Jenks' backfield but the more coaches that get through South Tulsa the more take notice of No. 4 making all those plays. Callins could end up, and probably already should be, higher up this list. The talented athlete can do a bit of everything but his status was hurt a bit by a knee injury suffered early in the Bluejays second game of the season. If he can bounce back and get back to his old ways he'll get plenty of attention. He has said he wants to be a running back, it'll be interesting to see if that limiting position may slow down some schools who see his potential in the secondary.

#20Chandler MillerOL
Bixby, OKBixby

If Miller were just a few inches taller he might be driving coaches mad as an offensive tackle however as a guard he'll simply need some time to continue to fill his frame out. Miller isn't a road grader type of offensive guard but instead gets by on athleticism but don't misunderstand his style of play for Miller being soft - he is more than capable of finishing blocks.

#21Alfonzo McMillianDB
Oklahoma City, OKMillwood

McMillian is the second Falcon on the list and is a player that the Scoop staff is wanting a closer look at. At times on tape he flashes the ability of a big play cornerback/free safety and then at other times looks more pedestrian. It's just a matter of finding what is the true McMillian, if it's the former, he may be ready for a big jump up this list.

Ball is a prospect that is all about projection because even though some will take a shine to him as a tight end there is no way that some aren't thinking about 'the next Lane Johnson' for a player with solid athleticism at the tight end spot and a guy who could develop into a scary type at tackle three years from now. The question is how open is Ball to that idea?

It's a testament to what McLain has done in recent years to have two players within the top 25. The interesting thing about the two, probable, receivers is how different they are. While Carter is a deep threat with a good frame and ability to go get the ball, Bishop is a slot receiver with electric open field moves who may not have incredible long speed but has more than enough to out distance anyone on his way to the end zone.

#24Payton PrinceTE

Prince was seen three times this season by the Scoop staff and on one occasion was truly dominant but with that exception didn't make as many plays as you'd expect for a guy with his natural gifts. Prince can sometimes be victim of mental lapses but when focused he definitely has the feel of a guy who is going to get a lot of attention due to his frame, natural receiving ability and solid athletic ability.

Lewis is a highly productive athlete who led McGuinness to a near historic season. The question is just where Lewis could/will play in the college game. There are some who think he could play as a strong safety or outside linebacker in the college game but others think it's too soon to give up on his possibility as a quarterback in the mold of Collin Klein. Either way Lewis is definitely a name to remember in this class.

The big offensive lineman has been well known for quite some time after showing up at Oklahoma's camp prior to his sophomore year. At that time Woods was too heavy and it showed in his footwork but as a junior he really seemed to turn the corner. Woods has leaned up while adding muscle but everyone is still anxious to see more of him as he fought with injuries in two of three games that the Scoop staff saw him this season.

Howard was a player that the Scoop staff fell in love with last spring when watching him for the first time. Seeing him in person three times this year it's hard to come up with many game-changing plays from the talented defensive back. Howard spent most of the year at safety but with graduation seeing both of the Tigers starting corners headed elsewhere it seems possible he could end up at corner, where he might be more suited as a cover-two corner in the college game.

The third, and final, Falcon on the list is a guy with massive potential who is somewhat reminiscent of Tramal Ivy from the top 10. Dotson has real range and the ability to get up field in pass-rushing situations. He, also like Ivy, is still very light but has some natural pass rush ability and seems to have the frame to grow out even more.

One of the real revelations of Winter tape watching, We have no idea if AD-H is what he goes by, but it is here, the big defensive end is a high motor guy who actually made some plays against one of the state's best lineman, Washington State signee Carlos Freeman, in their match-up last year. He isn't the biggest prospect but is very active and is there a greater compliment to pay a defensive lineman that 'he has a knack for making plays behind the line of scrimmage'?

Chukwurah is a case of buying into immense talent. The big corner has all the ability and natural talent one could look for in a corner but in seeing Norman North twice Chukwurah was often the defensive back that schools went at - not a good sign. Again the tools are there but plays need to start happening for Chukwurah who flashes at times but is still searching for consistency.
