Scouting Report on Kenton Walker
by Jerry Meyer - 06/07/2006A mobile, left handed post player, Walker excels as a versatile defender and rebounder on both ends of the court. In the half court offense, he is best when rolling to the basket off the high ball screen. He does need to improve his perimeter shooting and ball handling.
Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
