TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP)—Marlies Gipson scored 15 points and blocked six shots Saturday night, leading No. 23 Kansas State over Indiana State 58-43 for coach Deb Patterson’s 250th career victory.
Gipson also had six rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Wildcats (10-0).
Indiana State led by seven points in the first half before Kansas State pulled ahead 24-22 at the break. The Wildcats held the Sycamores (3-7) to a pair of free throws by Kelsey Luna during a 15-2 run after halftime that put the game out of reach.
Shalee Lehning added 14 points for Kansas State.
Indiana State was led by Leah Phillips with 12 points and Shannon Thomas with 8.
