TUCSON, Ariz. (AP)—Julie Briody scored 25 points and Katie Montgomery added 18 to help No. 23 New Mexico beat Arizona 76-63 on Tuesday night.
The Lobos (6-2) never trailed in the non-conference game and led 38-31 at halftime before building a 24-point advantage with 4:41 to play.
Angela Hartill finished with 12 points for New Mexico, which shot 65 percent from the field in the first half on 15-of-23 shooting.
Arizona (5-4) was led by Suzy Bofia’s 14 points off the bench.
Amina Njonkou had 13 points for the Wildcats while Ashley Whisonant added 12 and Shannon Hobson 10.
