If the Baylor Lady Bears' young baskeetball team jells by mid-seasson, they could well be in the final four in Marcdh.

I think there are some teams not ranked in top 25 that should be ranked. But those teams will just have to show well they really are and prove they are worthy of the top 25.

the men's game has sunk to the level of football on a basketball court. no rules just fouls not called according to the rules of basketball. shame on the ncaa to let their schools be a proving ground for the nba. the graduation rate falls EVERY YEAR. and that is very sad

Where is South Dakota State, a team that took number four Baylor to the last seconds in the NCAA tournament, and lost only one starter from last years team?

Women's basketball is great. Much more exciting than the mens and just as hard played.
We are looking forward to a great year here in South Bend, Indiana.......Go Irish.......Look out Huskies!!!!!!

There always seem to be some *sshats who have to add 'Who cares (about Women's BBall)" comments to these threads. Why are you posting here? Some of us do care; find the Women's game more exciting, more fundamentally played and more than worth our time.
I get the impression the 'Who Cares' crowd are a bunch of dumb dudes who got played when they tried to compete with a girl on the court at some point and now they feel the need to dis our game.
I suggest you go work on your skills & drills and STFU.

    (Oh! And Go UConn) ;-)

I agreee with this person. I think the womens game is so much more exciting to watch. Not just the same certain teams are always good there are so many good womens basketball teams out there. The years are gonna be so challenging and i love that. Chris W. has no life and is sexest so go get a life. I never said i wasnt in love with mens basketball either but u are immature for putting someone down. So go and comment somewhere else all you haters on womens basketball.

I applaud you Charmaine S, stand up and Cheer you!!!!! I am a 55 yr old Man, and you are right he needs to grow up and get a life and learn to respect others. I helped coach boys and girls at the YMCA in Hayward California and had a co-ed 4th grade team, I saw some good male and female athletes come out of the Bay Area over the years, but By Far the Womans basketball game is Supeior as far as the basics and fundaments go, you get the same shot selection inside and outside, and the Woman don't cry when they get fouled hard, like the( you know who do)! But to each his own and Chris W, you don't have to get dirty with criticism's, unles your vocabulary comes up as short as your game!!!

Why don't some of these men stick to commenting on the men basketball game. We don't need some 55 year old like Chris W. commenting on Brittany G. of Baylor. Remember she is somebody's child . If that was his daughter he wouldn't appreciate anyone saying negative, hateful and down right nasty things about her. Lay off the young lady. I bet he cannot talk about any of the male player that way because they would lay him out. He is a COWARD , PUNK, A GIRLIE MAN , A HATER ,BULLY, WOMAN HATER and any other negative name you can come up with. HOW does he feel being called these names? I am sure he is going to get upset. People like him can dish it out but cannot take it.Get a life and be a 55 year old man not a 55 year old BOY.

The womans game is so much better because they have their fundametals down pat, and can really shoot the ball from anywhere on the court that a man can, have you watched how the woman get back down the court on a steal or fast break to defend, they run to a spot, not try to run with the person with the ball and are there waiting for Her when she gets down so they have to pull the ball up and run a play. the boys game is so much an inferior game but they get the money andspot light. And now baylor has the Dunking Queen a young woman by the name of Brittney Griner, 6'10" or 11", 80 inch wingspan and wearing size 17 shoes, she averaged 23 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks per game lastseason for Nimitz. On Jan. 9, she dominated Houston Memorial. Griner had 32 points, 16 rebounds and a whopping 13 blocks. But that's not what has Houston-area girls basketball fans buzzing. Griner can dunk in a variety of ways, as a highlight clip on YouTube will attest. The simple title: "High School Girl Dunker." This year Womans collage basketball will be a much more interesting game!

Have any of you bozo's ever watched a Women's Basketball game. They play the game the way it is supposed to be played unlike the man who do not. They are showmen and play above the rim. Dr. Naismith never envisioned the game to be played that way.
