The big goal—a bowl game—is gone for the Huskies, even if it seemed an unlikely goal in the first place for a team coming off an 0-12 season.

But despite the unlikelihood of going from winless to the postseason, UW players and coaches had said they felt it was a legitimate goal. However, a 48-21 defeat at Oregon State Saturday left UW at 3-7 and bowless for the seventh consecutive season.

So now, as the team enters its second bye week of the season, the question is how the Huskies will finish out the year.

The Huskies will take this weekend off then host rival Washington State Nov. 28 and Cal Dec. 5.

UW coach Steve Sarkisian says he has no doubts the Huskies will find reasons to keep playing hard.
