      <description>Bryant Moniz threw four touchdowns and Leon Wright-Jackson ran for a career-best 167 yards and three scores to help Hawaii snap a six-game losing streak with a 49-36 victory over Utah State on Saturday night. Greg Salas had 10 catches for 187 yards and two TDs for the Warriors (3-6, 1-5 Western Athletic Conference), who were in the midst of their longest losing streak since going 0-12 in 1998.</description>

      <description><![CDATA[ <p><p>First-year Utah State head coach Gary Andersen has kept spirits up by continuing to assert to his 2-6 team that goals which were approachable last winter can still be met.</p>
<p>USU will prepare for a long trip to Hawaii &mdash; longer than every other road-trip mileage, combined, to this point, in fact &mdash; by trying to forget that it has lost three of the last four games.</p>
<p>"We have a great opportunity to do some things in the next few weeks that haven't been done here in a long time," Andersen said Nov. 2. "We can win more WAC games than they've won for a long time, we can have a winning season playing at home, which hasn't been done here for a long time."</p>
<p>For starters, USU is 1-3 in the WAC and could reasonably go 4-4.]]></description>
