Practice started March 27, and talk about a different year for Utah State.
The Aggies, coming off their first bowl season in more than a decade, lost two of their all-time great players in running back Robert Turbin and linebacker Bobby Wagner, who will both be drafted into the NFL.
But with those departures come even higher expectations for everyone that remains. Goodness, USU even has a title sponsor for its spring game this year with 17 starters returning, including seven on an offense that will have a hot quarterback race after the way last year finished. The Aggies are hoping that it won't be another 15 years between bowl appearances, as they will be seeking the program's first back-to-back bowl chances since 1960-61.
