Al Golden isn't one to really be concerned with ratings. He wants football players and thinks he has brought in a strong class as Temple looks to continue to build on what happened last season.

"Most people think we're nuts," Golden said on signing day.

"We run into those (so-called big) guys. But we don't need to recruit one of their guys to validate what we're doing. Last year, I think someone ranked us 112 (out of 120 FBS programs)."

For the record, Rivals.com had the Owls ranked 75th, but that likely didn't matter to Golden, either.
