<p>Former Hawaii coach June Jones will likely be back in the islands this holiday season - even if SMU loses Saturday's home game to Tulane.</p>
&nbsp;  It appears that the Hawaii Bowl is committed to taking the Mustangs win or lose.</p>
&nbsp;  The Ponies (6-5, 5-2 in Conference USA) are seeking to lock up their first bowl berth since 1984 and snap the nation's fourth-longest bowl drought.</p>
<p><b>C-usa</b>&nbsp;&nbsp;will definitely have a spot in the EagleBank Bowl, giving the league six bowl berths. However, the ACC has only seven bowl-eligible teams, meaning the EagleBank Bowl will get the ACC's seventh slot.</p>
<p>That means that SMU is essentially a lock to go bowling, even if it finishes 6-6.]]></description>
