Jaashawn Jones set career highs with 35 carries and 143 yards rushing to lead Delaware State to a 24-21 victory over Winston-Salem State on Saturday. Jones also scored on a 6-yard run to help the Hornets (3-6) take a 24-7 halftime lead and hold off the Rams (1-8), whose second-half rally fell short.
