Though USF remains mathematically in the Big East race with a 2-2 conference record, too much would have to fall the Bulls' way to consider them a legitimate contender at this point.
But they still have a lot to play for over the next month.
With four games remaining, a sweep would give the Bulls 10 victories for the first time in the program's 13-season history and, considering one of the wins would have come over Miami, would enhance their postseason possibilities considerably.
The Big East has tie-ins with five other bowls in addition to its spot in the BCS rotation. Barring a finish in one of the top two spots in the BCS rankings and a berth in the national championship game, the league champ will go the Fiesta, Orange or Sugar Bowl. USF then would be ...More |
