Rutgers Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

http://us.rd.yahoo.com/sports/rss/ncaaf/SIG=13au0c6po/*http%3A//sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news?slug=teamreports-2009-ncaaf-rrd&prov=sportsxchange&type=team_report

Rutgers is one of the rare teams with multiple bye weeks this season, and the Scarlet Knights are feeling pretty good about themselves heading into the free weekend before kicking off again on Thursday, Nov. 12 against South Florida.

That's the difference 38 seconds can make.

With that much time remaining in the game last weekend, Rutgers trailed UConn by a field goal and was pinned at its own 19-yard line. But one quick pass and run to Tim Brown later, the Scarlet Knights led 28-24 and were on their way to their sixth victory of the season and first Big East win.

Though the Scarlet Knights aren't in BCS contention, the team is in good shape for one of the other top Big East bowls.
