Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli watched as red-clad Arizona students ringed the sidelines as time ticked down, ready to rush the field. "I saw it and I actually smirked," Masoli said. The Civil War on Dec. 3 will be for a Rose Bowl berth, and it also should help clear up the race for the All-Pac-10 quarterback.

The Ducks' Jeremiah Masoli made his biggest statement yet in the Nov. 21 double-overtime victory at Arizona. Masoli accounted for six touchdowns—three by rushing, three by passing—in the 44-41 win.

His performance left Arizona coach Mike Stoops somewhat in awe.

"Boy, he was special," Stoops said. "Those were plays a lot of people can't make. That was one of the best games I have ever seen played. He put the ball in places we couldn't get to."

Masoli and the Ducks will be going up against Oregon State and Sean Canfield on Dec. ...More
