Leading up to national signing day, there was one negative thought on Oklahoma's recruiting among those vocal fans who follow the recruiting game and take to local sports talk radio.
And, on the face of it, it was and is quite a valid concern.
When it came to any prospect targeted by both Texas and Oklahoma, Texas won.
Another valid complaint might be deserved following signing day: Of the top 25 prospects in the nation, as ranked by Rivals.com, the Sooners inked none of them. No. 12, DE Jackson Jeffcoat, from Plano West in suburban Dallas, may have been the last one lost.
