      <description>John Griffin rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns to lead Northeastern to a 33-27 victory over Rhode Island in the season finale for both teams. Griffin scored on runs of 18 and 10 yards and caught three passes for 29 yards as the Huskies (3-8, 3-5 Colonial Athletic Conference) won their final two games.</description>

The Huskies (2-8, 2-5 Colonial Athletic Association) took a 14-3 lead in the third quarter after Matt Carroll&#39;s 24-yard passing score to Greg Abelli and a 49-yard touchdown run by Griffin, who finished with 28 carries.]]></description>
