While the regular-season finale against North Carolina has been circled on the calendar since the schedule was released, off-the-field-news has taken some of the focus away from the rivalry renewal. Fittingly, given the team's struggles with injuries this season, it's a health-related matter.

Offensive coordinator Dana Bible missed the game against Virginia Tech last weekend because he was undergoing medical tests in Chapel Hill. The tests results weren't good. He was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia, and now faces a 30-day treatment program at the UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Bible has been in coaching for 34 years, and with Wolfpack head coach Tom O'Brien for the past 11, first at Boston College and now at North Carolina...
